Bananas, baseball, swimming and more...

It's been awhile since I posted anything so here are several things...Swimming on Memorial Day, D-backs game vs Braves (we won...), and trying bananas for the first time...He seems to take after his mommy on the disdain for bananas! Especially funny since I craved them when I was pregnant! OH!!! And he got a ball at the D-backs game (aka Stephen Drew bobble head day) from Braves Bullpen Coach, Eddie Perez. I didn't have a pen for an autograph from anyone, and it was the Braves, but WAY COOL! I need to get a case for it to put in his room.

Rough week, good ending...

This last week was really rough. Our first baby, Lily, was in the Emergency Clinic for most of the week for her getting into some drugs we had for Scooby's hips and getting really sick from it. Long story short, her kidneys started to not work all that well, so she was on round the clock fluids for a few days and away from us at the EAC. But, it looks like things were looking up. Derek told me that we needed to keep her there overnight Thursday night too. But then when we got there to visit after work, he surprised me with an early Mother's Day present of bringing her home. I was so happy! We don't know if there is any permanent damage to her kidneys just yet. We are probably going to do this special test down in Gilbert in a couple weeks to see what we are looking at, but in the mean time she is going to be on some special kidney diet food and under our close eye. It was so nice to have her home with us. Scooby was SO happy too.

So, we spent the weekend chilling so we could get some good Lily love in. We also decided to try out rice cereal with Jacob. He really seemed to like it. We only gave him a small amount, but he smiled through the feeding. Here are some pictures of him eating his first "meal".
